International Research Star Award Yog and Indian Dietetics
I am supriya Joshi, currently working as Assistant Professor at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, India. I hold a post graduate degree in Food Science and Nutrition (M.Sc. Food science and Nutrition). I also work as a Clinical Dietician in one of the esteemed hospitals in Pune, India. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so I have been trained in a range of modalities including medical nutrition therapy and physical activities. While practicing in a hospital; I realized that when the age advances; it is not uncommon for people to struggle for cognition. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic situations of aging. Thus I tried to research certain beneficial aspects from ancient Indian literature to solve the mysteries of cognition behavior in geriatric population. My research article Yog and Indian Dietetics in management of Mild Cognitive Impairment focuses on different ways to help people to lead a better life.
