Project Manager – Research and Training Asian research and training Institute for Skill Transfer (ARTIST) Ms. SHEETAL JOSHI, Clinical Dietician & Diabetes Educator is currently a Research Scholar from Symbiosis University, Pune with M.Sc in Dietetics and Food Service Management, Certified diabetes educator (UK), Certified Sports nutritionist , PG diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management and Post Graduation, MBA in Human Resource & Marketing have more than 18+ years of experience with profound knowledge in Dietetics, Research Hospital Management, Patient Counseling & Training, Organizing and coordinating various conferences , Training etc. She is mainly involved in Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans as well as provide nutritional counselling, especially for clinical conditions including Diabetes , GDM, PCOD, Infertility, Pregnancy, Weight loss, Metabolic disorders, diabetic care. She is managing and coordinating Research projects in the field of the public health sector for ARTIST (ASIAN RESEARCH and TRAINING INSTITUTE for SKILL TRANSFER) as a Project Manager – Research and Training. She is also actively conducting nutrition and healthy lifestyle workshops and webinars for corporate, schools and private groups and campaign on Anemia Mukt Bharat, and campaign on Cervical Cancer Awareness. She has done many nutrition programs for television. Being a passionate researcher she is involved in some major research projects on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, Anemia in pregnancy at ARTIST and holds many publication in International and National Journals. She is a master trainer for ‘MANYATA’ – a FOGSI flagship program, which is a nationwide movement. Training nurses for diabetes in pregnancy and conducting Nutrition based workshops for Ante Natal Care. Trained more than 1000+ Nursing staff (PAN India) on Nutrition and breastfeeding Module and to adopt recognized standards for excellence in maternity services. She is currently a Hon. Treasurer for IAPEN (Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition) , Bangalore chapter and is a part of malnutrition project by DMCP. She has won the “best poster presentation” for community nutrition at IDACON 2019, as well as received the IAPEN Quality award for excellence in Public Nutrition. She is instrumental in getting many awards for her organization ARTIST by her valuable contribution.
