Dr. Pratima Sharma is an educationist, researcher, academic administrator, and social contributor from Manipur, India. She holds a PhD in Management from Bir Tikendrajit University, Manipur .Her academic interests include education, management, women’s empowerment, financial literacy, financial inclusion, and inclusive development. Dr. Sharma began her professional career in healthcare, working with Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur, Rajasthan (2005–2006) and later with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Rawatbhata, Rajasthan (2006–2008) . From 2012 to 2019,she served as a Pharmacy Executive at Advanced Hospital, Imphal East, Manipur ,handling accounts, human resources, and inventory management. Since 2019 , she has been serving as the Managing Director of Leima Academy School, Khongman Mangil, Imphal East, Manipur.She is involved in academic administration, teacher coordination, student development, and institutional growth. She believes in an education system that promotes academic learning along with confidence, creativity, discipline, values, life skills, and responsible citizenship. Her research paper, “Present Scenario of Financial Literacy among Women Vendors in Manipur,”examines the financial knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours of women vendors. The study aims to identify gaps in financial literacy and highlight the importance of financial education and inclusion in strengthening women’s economic independence and decision-making. Dr. Sharma has participated in academic workshops, seminars, symposiums, and professional training, including data analysis using Excel and SPSS .Through her work in education, research, and administration, she continues to contribute to quality education, women’s empowerment, financial inclusion, and social development.
