INTERNATIONAL OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER AWARD
Kranthi Kumar Routhu is an accomplished Oracle HCM Cloud Techno-Functional Leader with nearly two decades of experience designing, implementing, and optimizing complex HR technology ecosystems for global enterprises. His career uniquely blends deep functional knowledge, advanced technical capability, and strategic leadership within Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite, supporting industries that include public sector, healthcare, logistics, and large corporate environments. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently delivered scalable, secure, and future-ready HR platforms while guiding organizations through high-impact digital transformation initiatives. Kranthi’s recent work with Penske, through Techwave Consulting, showcases his expertise in leading full-cycle HCM Cloud transformations. He drove the discovery, design, and implementation phases for the EPES-Penske Oracle HCM Cloud project, conducting detailed assessments of enterprise structures, HR processes, data flows, and user needs. His role included system compatibility analysis, user interviews, process mapping, and creation of a comprehensive solution design aligned with Penske’s long-term HR strategy. He also developed a reusable configuration and integration framework that reduces change-management overhead and accelerates future acquisitions—an approach demonstrating his ability to architect solutions that blend flexibility with enterprise governance. Before Penske, Kranthi served as a Techno-Functional Architect for Adecco Staffing, where he led full-scale implementations, data migrations, vendor integrations, and quarterly update management across Oracle Cloud. His responsibilities spanned payroll configuration, benefits processing, time and labor design, custom Fast Formulas, OTBI/BI reporting, and environment strategy for multiple pods. He strengthened operational stability by resolving day-to-day production issues, optimizing performance, managing legislative patches, and establishing rigorous testing frameworks for each quarterly update cycle, including Redwood UI validation and multi-module regression testing. His earlier leadership for Quest Diagnostics further highlights his depth in HCM Cloud operations. He supported critical HR, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labor functions; stabilized bi-weekly payroll operations; configured key payroll components; developed custom calculations; and managed integrations with platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, Cornerstone, and multiple EDI partners. His work ensured accurate data synchronization, reduced processing errors, and improved cross-platform interoperability. Kranthi’s experience with the City of Memphis demonstrated his ability to manage large public-sector HCM transformations, leading requirement workshops, conversion cycles from EBS to Fusion, custom reporting, security model design, HDL-based automation, and full cutover execution. His foundational years with Tech Mahindra and Vedic Systems strengthened his command over Oracle HRMS, conversions, testing lifecycles, flexfield configurations, and multi-module integrations. In addition to his consulting leadership, Kranthi is an active researcher who has published extensively on AI-driven workforce planning, predictive analytics, DEI intelligence, and HR automation. His work has been featured in international journals and referenced in global technology publications, further reflecting his commitment to innovation in HR technology.
