INTERNATIONAL OUTSTANDING INNOVATION AWARD

I’m Kishore Gade, currently working as a Lead Data Architect at JP Morgan Chase in the United States. With a background in Information Science and Technology, and certifications as an Advanced Informatica Developer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Cassandra Data Modeling expert, I’ve spent the past several years immersed in designing and scaling robust, cloud-native data systems that support enterprise needs and drive decision-making at scale. My journey through the world of data architecture has been driven by a passion for building future-ready solutions and a deep respect for the transformative power of information. At JP Morgan Chase, I’ve led major initiatives in both traditional and modern data environments. Since 2021, I’ve been responsible for shaping the data architecture of Home Lending applications. My focus has been on designing scalable AWS Data Lake solutions, creating efficient ETL pipelines for seamless data ingestion and transformation, and driving the migration of legacy systems to the cloud. These efforts have not only improved operational agility but also laid the groundwork for advanced analytics and real-time decisioning. I’ve also built CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth and reliable deployments, which have become crucial in maintaining our fast-paced, high-impact development cycles. Between 2016 and 2021, my work at JP Morgan Chase expanded into enterprise data models and governance. I helped steer the migration of legacy systems to Big Data platforms and contributed to building data ecosystems that supported everything from business intelligence to machine learning. I took pride in shaping data strategy across the organization by developing metadata management systems, supporting regulatory reporting requirements such as HMDA and MRA, and enhancing data integrity and transparency. Earlier in my career, I had the opportunity to work with some incredible organizations that shaped my foundation. At Apple Inc., I re-architected enterprise data warehouse systems to improve the accuracy and reliability of large-scale reporting, while handling the migration of massive historical datasets and ensuring strong data quality practices. My time at GE Aviation in Cincinnati saw me leading the transition from manual systems to modern Teradata data warehouses and developing comprehensive data models to support critical aviation contract systems. These experiences taught me not only the technical intricacies of data infrastructure but also the strategic thinking required to align technology with business vision. My professional interests lie in areas like data warehousing, cloud data lakes, big data ecosystems, and optimizing data pipelines for business intelligence and machine learning. I’ve always believed that a strong data foundation enables smarter, faster, and more impactful decision-making, and I’ve dedicated my work to making that belief a reality in every project I undertake. Receiving the Best Data Architect Innovator award has been both humbling and inspiring. It stands as a testament to the teams I’ve worked with, the mentors who have guided me, and the organizations that have believed in my vision. This recognition from Unified Braniz, TITAN, and ASIA only strengthens my resolve to keep pushing the boundaries of data architecture and explore new possibilities in governance, analytics, and cloud innovation. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the leadership at JP Morgan Chase for their support, and to my colleagues and family for their constant encouragement. Among the highlights of my career, I take particular pride in architecting a real-time analytics platform for home lending operations, leading the migration of multi-terabyte datasets to reduce operational costs, and developing scalable data governance frameworks that have stood the test of time. These achievements reflect not just technical skill but a mindset committed to innovation and long-term impact. As I continue my professional journey, I remain excited about the evolving landscape of data architecture. From the growing power of AI and ML to the maturity of cloud-native solutions, we are on the cusp of a new era in information technology. My goal is to continue contributing meaningful advancements that blend technology with purpose and to mentor the next generation of architects who will shape the future of this field. I see every challenge as an opportunity to innovate and every milestone as a stepping stone toward building better, more intelligent systems.
