INTERNATIONAL DISTINGUISHED INNOVATION AWARD
I’m Jeevan Kumar Manda, a passionate and versatile software professional with over nine years of experience in software development and more than seven years in mechanical engineering, specializing in HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems. My unique journey through both engineering disciplines has equipped me with a well-rounded perspective on systems design, development, and execution. I hold a Master of Science in Information Systems from Stratford University in Virginia, USA, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Gulbarga University, India. Currently, I work as a Project Manager at Metanoia Solutions Inc., where I oversee the entire lifecycle of technology initiatives—from requirement gathering and architectural design to planning, execution, delivery, and stakeholder management. I take pride in leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with internal and external vendors, and ensuring timely, quality-driven project deliveries that align with business goals. My day-to-day involves running program meetings, developing detailed plans, tracking performance metrics, and managing changes across scope, schedule, and cost to drive seamless execution. Prior to this role, I worked as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer at Ishift Corp, where I developed modern user interfaces using React.js, Node.js, HTML5, and JavaScript while integrating microservices on the backend with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. I was deeply involved in DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and Kubernetes, and worked extensively on UI state management, performance optimization, and writing robust code within agile environments. My ability to switch between front-end intricacies and backend logic has been instrumental in delivering responsive, high-performing applications. My experience also spans key roles at organizations like Sapvix Inc. and Metanoia Solutions, where I played a critical part in application development, system integrations, and migration efforts. I’ve been involved in migrating legacy systems to cloud-native environments like OpenShift and Kubernetes, designing serverless functions, and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. I have also developed Kafka-based solutions for real-time data processing and implemented best practices in secure coding and application monitoring using tools like Jaeger, X-ray, and Kibana. In my earlier career, I worked as a Programmer Analyst and Business Analyst, where I was responsible for requirement gathering, data modeling, user interface design, and backend development. I worked closely with stakeholders to ensure deliverables met business needs and compliance requirements, while also managing offshore teams and handling code deployments. What makes my background unique is the strong foundation I have in mechanical engineering. I spent over a decade designing and executing MEP services for high-rise buildings, villas, hospitals, and commercial complexes in the UAE. My roles included designing HVAC systems, firefighting and drainage layouts, estimating material costs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards like NFPA and SMACNA. This experience honed my project management, technical drawing, and system design skills, which continue to benefit my software engineering work today—particularly when managing complex, multi-component projects. My professional journey reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning and adaptability. I’m skilled in a wide range of technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS, Node.js, Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, SQL, and NoSQL databases. I’ve worked with SOAP and REST APIs, conducted unit testing with EasyMock and JUnit, and built scalable web applications using modern frameworks. My diverse background has taught me to be both detail-oriented and outcome-driven, whether I’m optimizing front-end components, integrating backend systems, or managing project roadmaps. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently aimed to bridge gaps between technical complexity and practical outcomes. I believe in strong communication, hands-on leadership, and the power of collaboration. Whether I’m leading a development team or coordinating cross-departmental efforts, my goal is always to create impactful, sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of organizations and their users.
