Myself, G SaiNithesh recently graduated MBBS doctor from Tirupati ,Andhra Pradesh India . I’ve completed my MBBS from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati ,which is affiliated to Dr. NTR University Of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh. I was just a normal average student who aspired to become a doctor in my schooling years, but my main aim at that age was to become a scientist who was very much interested in genetic remodelling. After entering into medical school, it was an ocean of medical sciences with a lots of flora and fauna of clinical and non-clinical sciences to learn about. I was always interested in doing my professional training in higher countries which inspired me a lot into Research. Then I took an initiative and started my research journey with my head of the department and assistant professor who encouraged me a lot in providing the necessary knowledge and objectives in this path. But unexpectedly, Covid19 made us lock in homes for 1 to 2 years In which many of the known ones died of simple preventable complications, which was not known at that time. At the end of the pandemic, many studies were being done on COVID-19, which made me thought of doing one at my level in my own hospital…….. then I got an idea of studying the impact of COVID-19 infection in relation to diabetes and sugar metabolism. This lead the foundation for my award-winning study “ study of HbA1c levels in non-diabetic individuals post to COVID-19 infection” . I faced many hurdles in doing this study at every step, like rejections from the study subjects at the time of sample collection, dropping outs and I made my own finances for the blood tests needed for the study. Finally, with the encouragement from family, professors and friends, I have completed and presented in AMRITACON international conference ,Kochi, Kerala. And then I have published my research paper and surprisingly got an award from ISSN awards 2024. I am very much grateful for what I have done and so happy and delightful for receiving the “ISSN Best International Researcher Award 2024 in Post Covid Diabetes “. I’m Thankful to ISSN awards. This is an encouragement for me to proceed further in my career and reach heights in the field of Medicine. Now I am preparing myself for the post graduation and soon would like to enter into General Internal Medicine. I would like to see myself in cardiology or endocrinology in future as I was more inclined towards them. And my interest towards Research will always be there to do more of this kind and contribute my part as a gratitude towards medical science.
