My career’s biggest milestone, as I moved to the banking domain as a Java Developer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Now at US Bank where my duties and responsibilities are Migrating bank legacy systems to updated technologies. Updating and improving legacy mainframe systems to save cost and improve the efficiency of the clients’ applications Performed Cloud Migration, code optimization, and improved User Interface for banking apps. Leading the team of 5 offshore engineers and 2 onsite engineers and evaluating their code. Making sure to secure financial technology using advanced data processing methodologies. Key Achievement: I have used the latest technologies like Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake while implementing the machine learning algorithm for detecting cyber threats. Due to the increase in cybersecurity threats, I have conducted extensive research for creating cybersecurity awareness in Fintech, creating a proactive cybersecurity culture, and factors leading to users becoming victims of cyber threats. Professional commitment to the field of expertise: Apart from my regular full-stack development at the workspace, I have conducted extensive research in the fields of cybersecurity, AI and big data. I have researched implementing a chatbot that can be used for medical treatments. Being working in the banking sector I realized there is a need for research related to phishing detection and cybersecurity awareness especially in the financial sector as it is been most targeted sector regarding cyber threats. I have explored user behavior toward phishing emails and conducted several research in related to cybersecurity awareness.
