Dr. Srinivas Babu Kathi: Pioneering Homeopath, Educator, and Researcher Dr. Srinivas Babu Kathi is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana, and Hamsa Homeopathy Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Mulugu, Siddipet District. Based in Hyderabad, India, he holds a Doctorate (Ph.D. from Tantia University, Rajasthan, ongoing since 2021 batch) and brings over 25 years of clinical practice, 16 years of teaching, and extensive research leadership in homeopathy. Dr. Kathi’s educational journey began with a BHMS from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in 1999, followed by an MSc in Ecology & Environmental Sciences from Sikkim Manipal University in 2003. He earned an MD in Homoeopathy (Organon of Medicine) from Dr. NTR University in 2009 and a Diploma in Thyroid and Diabetes Mellitus Management (DTDM) from Karnataka Bengaluru in 2024. These qualifications underpin his expertise in homoeopathic pharmacy, organon of medicine, community medicine, and clinical practice. With 16 years of teaching across KNRUHS and affiliated institutions, Dr. Kathi excels as an academician, delivering strong results in homoeopathic subjects. He serves as NSS Programme Officer (5 years since 2021), Board of Studies Member (KNRUHS 2023), internal/external examiner for Dr. NTR (YSR) and KNR universities, and inspection committee member for state AYUSH, central CCH/NCH affiliations. As Medical Superintendent at Hamsa Homeopathy Medical College Hospital & Research Centre and guide at KNRUHS, he mentors the next generation. He runs Sunitha Clinic Holistic Homeopathy in Hyderabad, blending 25 years of clinical experience. Dr. Kathi’s research portfolio shines with self-funded projects as Principal Investigator, including efficacy of homoeopathy for anemia in adolescent girls at Jyothibha Phule BC Welfare Residential College, Vargal (2021-2022); nutritional assessment at MJBBCWRCTS, Keesara (2023-24); conjunctivitis prevention pilot at MJPBCWRS Boys, Turkapally; and anemia at MJPBCWRS Girls, Pragnapur. He managed the JSPS Government Homoeopathic Medical College project on rural Type II Diabetes Mellitus (2009-2010) and leads an ongoing study on Allium Sativum for hypertension at Hamsa Homeopathy. A prolific author, he revised DD Banerjee’s Book of Homoeopathic Pharmacy (CBDC edition, 2023 onward) and publishes on academic and clinical homeopathy topics. An esteemed reviewer for journals like International Journal of Innovative Research Technology (IJIRT), International Journal of Advanced Research (IJRAR), SciencePG’s Advances in Applied Sciences, and Cureus, Dr. Kathi holds ORCID 0009-0000-9121-6162, Web of Science Researcher ID ODK-3164-2025, and SSRN Author ID 7863913. In 2025, he received the ISSN International Researcher Award from the International Society for Scientific Network. Dr. Kathi’s multifaceted career advances homeopathic efficacy, public health, and education in Telangana.
