Dr. Snehal Sakharam Patil is a dedicated Public Health Dentistry professional with extensive experience in clinical practice, academic leadership, research, and innovation. Working as Senior Lecturer at ACPM Dental College, she holds a strong record of contributions in oral health education, tobacco cessation, and preventive dentistry. She has received national recognition for her scientific work, winning multiple awards including 1st Prize at the 27th IAPHD National Conference (2023) and 2nd Prize at the 15th IAPHD PG Convention (2024). Dr. Patil has also completed specialized training in global tobacco control through Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and national-level programs under the ECHO initiative. An active researcher, she was awarded a short-term research grant by MUHS for a study focused on the impact of tobacco on maternal and neonatal health in tribal regions. Her scholarly output includes numerous peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and multiple patents, including innovations in intraoral scanning and oral cancer detection devices.
