Dr Rambha Pathak is currently the Dean of Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Nouda, Uttar Pradesh , India & Professor & Head of the Dept. of Community Medicine too at the institute .She is a graduate of Calcutta National Medical College, Calcutta University and a post graduate of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla . She is a public health expert and has 15 years of Post M.D. teaching and Research experience. She has been a resource faculty as a Guest lecturer and Organizing committee member in more than 10 national conferences , 4 international conferences and 39 workshops and CMEs dealing with various aspects of research methods, epidemiology and public health. She has worked on multiple inter-disciplinary intramural and extra mural funded projects as Principal Investigator and co-investigator and students under her guidance, have received National research paper awards. She has published 66 research publications in indexed and peer-reviewed international and national journals. She is a life member of National Academy of Medical Sciences and an executive member of MIYCN Working group of Indian Association of Preventive& Social Medicine. She was a member of major administrative, research and academic committees in Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi
