Dr. Purti Tripathi is presently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. She has done her graduation (MBBS) and post graduation, MD Microbiology from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur. She has over 12 years of teaching and research experience. She is a certified Internal Auditor NABL ISO 15189-2012. She has published 17 research articles in PubMed, Scopus indexed and peer reviewed National and International Journals and is an author of 03 books. She is a Life member of many National bodies and societies. Dr. Purti is a reviewer board member of many National and International journals. She has supervised graduate research student’s projects. Her areas of interest include antimicrobial resistance and hospital infection control. She is facilitated as COVID YODHA SEVA SAMMAAN for her outstanding work during COVID-19 pandemic by Shri Shivraj Singh Chawan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh. She is facilitated for her outstanding, dedicated and sincere work in RTPCR Virology Laboratory by District Collector, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh and Maitri Mahila Mandal, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. She is facilitated for outstanding work in healthcare by Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. She is a recipient of Outstanding researcher in Microbiology award in the 6th Venus International Healthcare Awards (VIHA 2023). She is awarded Best Researcher Award for the contribution and Honorable Achievement in Innovative research at the 3rd edition of International Academic Acheivements and Awards by Scifax (Science Father). She is also felicitated for her outstanding work in teaching and health services by Maitri Mahila Mandal and Aadhar Foundation, Chhindwara.
