Dr. Priyanka Kamble is an Ayurvedic gynecologist and obstetrician with a strong academic and clinical background in women’s health. She has completed her Master of Surgery (M.S.) in Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga (OB-GYN) from Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College and Hospital, SCSVMV University, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Strirog & Prasuti Tantra at APM’s Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Sion, Mumbai. Her passion lies in advancing women’s healthcare through evidence-based Ayurvedic approaches integrated with modern practices. She has expertise in prenatal and postnatal care, management of gynecological disorders, infertility, and reproductive health. Her clinical skills extend to Ayurvedic procedures such as Vamana, Virechana, Uttar Basti, Yoni Pichu, and Yoni Prakshalana, which she has successfully applied in patient care. Dr. Priyanka has contributed significantly to the academic and research community. She conducted a clinical trial on Pathya Amalakadi Kashaya in the management of Shweta Pradara (leucorrhoea), which demonstrated promising results with up to 76% overall symptom relief in patients. Her published works include “An Ayurvedic Approach in the Management of Female Infertility Caused due to Uterine Factor” (IJAPR, 2025) and “Effective Management of Artava Kshaya by Ayurveda Treatment: A Case Report” (Journal of Biological & Scientific Opinion, 2022). She has actively presented papers and posters at various national and international conferences, including Kashyapi 2023, Vaikhari 2024, Baalajeevanam 2.0, Vishuddha 2024, and Sushrutee 2024, and has participated in numerous webinars and seminars. Through these platforms, she has contributed to scholarly discussions and promoted the relevance of Ayurveda in addressing contemporary healthcare challenges. Her professional journey also includes roles in clinical documentation and medical scribing, which enhanced her expertise in international healthcare systems and electronic health records. She has worked with healthcare organizations in family medicine and obstetrics-gynecology, gaining valuable exposure to global medical practices. In recognition of her dedication and impactful contributions, she has been honored with the International Best Researcher Award. She is also a life member of the KAGOF Ayurveda Gynecologists and Obstetricians Foundation, further reflecting her commitment to advancing Ayurvedic gynecology. Looking ahead, Dr. Priyanka aspires to continue her journey of research, teaching, and clinical innovation. Her vision is to create a bridge between traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and modern scientific validation, with the goal of making women’s healthcare more holistic, effective, and globally relevant.
