Dr. Neha Sain, born and brought up in the historic city of Kurukshetra, Haryana, has always embodied resilience, determination, and a passion for service. Inspired from an early age to pursue medicine, she chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology, a branch that allows her to combine science, empathy, and surgical skill to make a tangible difference in women’s health. She pursued her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the prestigious Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurveda and Research Centre, Pune, where she excelled academically and clinically. During her postgraduate training, she conducted a significant research study on Garbhini Parshwagraha—described as rigidity in the flanks associated with backache during pregnancy—an area that allowed her to bridge ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern clinical understanding. This research not only enriched her academic growth but also reflected her inclination toward holistic approaches to women’s health. After completing her degree, she began her professional journey at Jupiter Hospital, Baner, Pune, a leading multispecialty hospital, where she served as a Junior Consultant for nearly two years. In this role, she gained invaluable experience handling both routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecological cases, sharpening her clinical decision-making and patient management skills. Known for her precision, calm presence, and dedication, she quickly earned the respect of her peers and seniors. It was during this period that her natural flair and passion for surgery became most evident. For Dr. Neha, the operating theatre is not merely a workplace but a space where her technical expertise, presence of mind, and compassion converge. She has consistently demonstrated proficiency in surgical techniques, approaching each procedure with a focus on patient safety, positive outcomes, and restoring quality of life. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Neha has recently embarked on a new personal chapter as the wife of an Army Officer. Marriage into a military family has added another layer of discipline, resilience, and adaptability to her life. Balancing the unique challenges of being part of the armed forces community with her demanding career in medicine, she continues to embody strength, commitment, and grace.
