Dr. Mahesh G Undegaonkar has been assistant professor in Chemistry at NKSPT’s Arts, Science and Commerce College Badnapur, District Jalna affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad of Maharashtra state, India for past 15 years. He is also Head of the Chemistry department and involved in Undergraduate and Post graduate teaching in Chemistry. He also involved in research activities and pursued Ph.D. in the area of biologically active Schiff base Metal Complexes. He has published 25 research articles in reputed journals of Web of Science, SCOPUS, UGC CARE list, International peer reviewed journals, Conferences and symposium. Currently he is also contributing to the field by working as a reviewer of many Chemistry journals and Book Chapters of reputed book publishing house. His principal areas of interests are Organic Synthesis, Metal Complexes, Green Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry. Born at a town place named Purna in Parbhani District of Maharashtra state, India before 44 years, he completed his schooling at the same place with distinction. He is always interested in studying Science and Mathematics. He completed his graduation in Science with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as subjects from Shri Shivaji College Parbhani affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded of Maharashtra state, India and obtainded first class. He completed his post-graduation in Organic Chemistry from Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded in First Class with distinction, affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded of Maharashtra state, India. He also qualified national level exams including CSIR-UGC’s National Eligibility Test for Lecturer ship (NET-LS) in Chemical Sciences in 2003 and GATE by IIT in Chemistry in 2004. Being excellent in academics, he has enough knowledge in technical writing and presentations at various platforms. He is actively involved in many student and assessment activities at higher level of institution.
