INTERNATIONAL BEST RESEARCHER AWARD IN PERIODONTICS AND ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY
I am a clinician-researcher with a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based healthcare through translational research. I have completed my postgraduate training and am currently pursuing my PhD, with a primary focus on integrating scientific inquiry into meaningful clinical applications. My research interests lie in understanding the role of inflammation and host response in health and disease, particularly the interaction between metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus and oral inflammatory conditions. I am deeply interested in exploring systemic–oral health connections that can improve early diagnosis, risk assessment, and individualized patient management. A key aspect of my work involves the evaluation of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in biological fluids, bridging laboratory-based research with real-world clinical relevance. This approach aims to enhance clinical decision-making and contribute to preventive and personalized care strategies. My clinical training in periodontology and oral implantology complements my research perspective and supports a comprehensive approach to patient care. I actively apply research findings in clinical settings, ensuring that scientific advancements translate into improved treatment outcomes. I am committed to academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous learning, and I look forward to contributing further to impactful research that advances clinical practice and patient well-being.
