I am Dr. Kartik Samria, an orthopedic surgeon known for my innovative approaches to medicine and research. I began my medical journey at Dr. SN Medical College, where I completed my MBBS, and I am currently pursuing my postgraduate studies at SMS Medical College in Jaipur.In 2023, I published a significant case report titled “Unforeseen consequence: heterotopic ossification following traumatic brain injury and acetabulum fracture—a case report.” This work earned me the INTERNATIONAL OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER AWARD in 2024. My research interests include cancer, particularly where it intersects with orthopedics, such as understanding bone metastases and the effects of cancer treatments on the skeleton.I am actively involved in the Rajasthan Orthopedic Surgeon Association and have presented numerous papers at various conferences. My dedication to advancing orthopedic knowledge and practice has also led to an invitation to speak at the 4th Annual Conference on Orthopedics, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Disorders, which will take place on November 18-19, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.Outside of my medical career, I am a professional photographer and a budding guitar player. These interests provide a creative balance to my professional life and allow me to see the world from different perspectives.My inspiration comes from my father, who demonstrated unwavering dedication to his work, providing services at any time, in any weather, and in any area without hesitation. His example motivates me to offer the best possible care to my patients, regardless of the challenges.
