International Best Researcher Award (Solar Cells)

Dr. C. Karthik Kumar has extensive experience in thin film preparation, membrane production, organic synthesis, separation, purification, and characterisation. He specializes in X-ray diffraction (both single crystal and Powder XRD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), and FT-IR, NIR, and Raman spectroscopy for the analysis of thin films and various crystal forms (polymorphs, solvates, hydrates, salts, and cocrystals). He, proficient in handling various techniques like RF/DC magnetron sputtering, PLD, FESEM (Carl Zeiss), AFM, UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy. He is well-versed in a variety of software programmes, including Polymorph Prediction CSD (CCDC-Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre) for crystal structure database analysis, VESTA for crystal structure solution and refinement, Mercury for viewing and graphics, and Powder Cell 2.4 for polymorphic phase quantification and least squares refinement.
