Dr Arpan Choudhury is an alumni of Don Bosco High School and Cotton College, Guwahati. He pursued MBBS from Assam Medical College and MS General Surgery from Gauhati Medical College. He then completed his training in cancer surgery from Apollo Hospitals Gandhinagar and was awarded with the degree of Doctorate of National Board in Surgical Oncology. After working as a cancer specialist in Gujarat, he has returned to Assam and is currently working as a cancer surgeon in Dr B. Borooah Cancer Institute Guwahati. He has a special interest in cancer research and he has authored a number of articles in various peer reviewed journals.
