INTERNATIONAL BEST PROFESSOR AWARD in Bioinformatics

Dr. A. Arun is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Thandalam, Chennai. He successfully completed his PhD degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli under the guidance of Dr. Sudhakar Sivasubramaniam. His doctoral research work was on the whole genome analysis of the earthworm species Eudrilus eugeniae. He has worked on the genome of symbiotic bacteria associated with earthworms. Dr. Arun uses R programming language to carry out his research tasks. Currently, he is using Machine learning techniques on biological sequences to get answers to important research questions in Molecular Biology.
