INTERNATIONAL NOBEL RESEARCH AWARD

I am an Assistant Professor in Fashion and Textile Design with over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to nurturing creativity, research aptitude and innovation among students while bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern design practices. In my academic journey I contributed to both the educational and research domains of fashion and textiles. My professional interests span across a wide spectrum of areas including textile material science, fashion sustainability, surface ornamentation, upcycling techniques, smart textiles and craft revival. I am deeply passionate about sustainable and ethical practices in design and I believe that the future of the fashion and textile industry lies in combining technology with environmental and cultural consciousness. In addition to teaching, I have written and co-authored several review and research papers published in reputed national and international journals and books. My research work focuses primarily on sustainable textile development, circular fashion systems and the valorization of traditional crafts through contemporary applications. I have actively participated in academic conferences, workshops and seminars, continuously engaging with the latest global trends and developments in the fashion and textile sector. My ultimate goal as an educator and researcher is to inspire young designers to view fashion not merely as a form of expression but as a powerful medium for sustainable change, cultural preservation and creative transformation.
