Dr. Prerona Boruah, born on 18th July 1992 in Jorhat, Assam, is a distinguished scientist whose pioneering contributions in immunology span both academia and industry. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from India and earned her Ph.D. in Immunology in China, equipping her with a truly global perspective on biomedical research. With over seven years of combined experience in research and industry, Dr. Boruah has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and filed two provisional patents. Her work bridges fundamental immunology and translational applications, focusing on host–pathogen interactions, immune modulation, and the development of novel diagnostics and therapies. She has consistently demonstrated an ability to turn cutting-edge research into practical solutions with real-world impact. Beyond her publications and patents, Dr. Boruah is recognized for her dedication as a mentor, collaborator, and leader.
