Dr. Srikanta Padhan completed his degree in Physiotherapy at the Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research in Cuttack, Odisha, and his postgraduate studies in Public Health at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Raipur. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at AIIMS, Raipur. Dr. Padhan has actively participated in numerous workshops and faculty development programs. His key areas of interest include health system strengthening, public health management, environmental and occupational health, health economics, and preventive physiotherapy. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences and has published several research articles in renowned national and international journals. Additionally, he has contributed chapters to various journals and books on physiotherapy and public health. In July 2022, Dr. Padhan qualified for the UGC NET-JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Assistant Professor in the Subject of Social Medicine and Community Health. He is a life member of the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA), the Epidemiological Foundation of India (EPI), and the Global Center for Evidence Synthesis (GCES). He has received the “International Research Star Award” for Research and Excellence in “Public Health” at ISSN awards, IIRAC Congress 2024.
