Dr Mini Sharma currently working as an Assistant Professor, consultant in department of Psychiatry in RVRS Government Medical College, Rajasthan,India. She did her MD (Psychiatry) from a tertiary neuro-psychiatric centre- Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, Delhi, India; followed by DNB (Psychiatry) from National Board of Examination (NBE). She completed her Senior Residency from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India. She has additional qualifications with Fellowship in sexology and psychosexual therapy (affiliated with American College of Sexologists), Life skills Facilitator for Child and adolescents and Perinatal Psychiatry course (NIMHANS). Dr Mini Sharma is also a member of Human Rights and Mental health subcommittee (2023-24) of Indian Psychiatry Association. Her expertise include substance use and related addiction disorders, forensic Psychiatry, sexual medicine, child and Adolescent Psychiatry, CLP and women mental health. She also received “ Young Researcher in Psychiatry award” at the Annual Health Submit 2023 in Chennai, India. Recently, being awarded as the’ Youth Icon Award, by IMA KOTA, Rajasthan, 2024). Dr Mini has multiple award presentations,symposium, paper and poster presentations at International and National conferences. She has 25 publications in the International and national Journals. Dr Mini has been Chairperson at International and national conferences for symposium and paper presentation. She currently working as a resource stakeholder to bridge the health services, especially for substance users from urban to rural populations and provide doorstep treatment under NMHP services in rural populations in Rajasthan, India and doing other research work related to mental health.
