International Best Researcher Award in optimal design of super-tall buildings & wind turbines

Dr. Wang obtained his masters degree in civil engineering from Tongji University in China in 2016. Later, he obtained his doctoral degree in civil engineering from the University of Tokyo in Japan in 2019. He is currently a project assistant professor at the University of Tokyo for the Laboratory of Joint Program for next-generation energy infrastructure funded by J-POWER, Shimizu Corporation, Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind Japan, and ClassNK. He has interests in Tall Building Engineering and Wind Turbine Engineering, acting on the following topics: optimal design of super-tall buildings, integrated design of offshore wind turbines, and smart monitoring and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
