Izunna S. Okeke

International Best Researcher Award in Nanotechnology/nanobiotechnology

Izunna S. Okeke (PhD) was an Assistant Chief Research Officer at the National Biotechnology Development Agency, FCT Abuja, Nigeria. He studied Industrial Physics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, obtained MSc and PhD degree in Medical Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Enugu State, Nigeria. He has been involved in many volunteer works in the University which includes teaching sandwich, undergraduates and MSc students. He assisted many Postgraduate students to gain more insights in research and data analysis. He is a member of the Nigerian Association of Medical Physicists. Dr. I.S Okeke has published a very good number of papers and book chapters in an International peer review Journals. He review manuscripts for a number of International Journals and his research interests cut across the following fields; radiotherapy, nanotherapy and nanobiotechnology. He is a vibrant member of Nano Research Group UNN; a group that has attracted several grants from both local and International collaborators, and have turned out hundreds of quality papers in material such as polymers, metals, metal-oxides, perovskites, ceramics, composites and many more.
