Daniel Reegan, Assistant Director (Entomology), National Centre for Disease Control, Bengaluru Branch, Karnataka for his research contribution in the field of “Medical Entomology” Dr. A. Daniel Reegan has been doing outstanding research on insect vectors of medical importance using alternate vector control strategies and carrying out extensive field activities to control vector-borne diseases including Plague, Malaria, Filaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, Japanese Encephalitis, etc. for the betterment of public health in the field of Medical Entomology.
